338 Edge with 225gn Hornady whats your load?

I have been trying to work up a load for my .338 Edge with both the Hornady 225 grain SST amd Interbond projectiles.

So far I have tried 100gn, 101gn and 102 grains of H1000 with a CCI 250M primer. Accuracy has not been great but I am a long way off the lands due to my long throat and I need to address that.

Just wondering what sort of load others are using with 225 grain bullets and H1000 out of their .338 Edge rifles?

with 225 gr bullets a faster burning powder will work better. i had great results with Norma MRP which is the same as rel22. with H1000 i could fill the case up and still didn't have any signs of excessive pressure with the 225's. 250's and heavier the H1000 worked better.

Running 92.5 H1000 with a Fed GMM 215 primer. 2950 FPS. Not too fast but comfortable to shoot and accurate. Accubonds seem more accurate in my stick than the SST's.

My answer to this is. The only reason is to make the 7 RM look good. There is no other reason.

Another good bullet is the Sierra 215 grain Game King. I shoot that bullet with 102 grains of H1000/Fed 215 at 3175 fps.
