Just got the new 300gr scenar
300gr scenar (left) vs 300gr SMK (right) 1mm spacing between lines

i assume there's a hollow point. how big is it and can you tell how deep it might be.

I dont know on the 300gr Scenar because I have never shot them, but I have shot the 338 250gr Scenar and 6mm scenars, they have less expansion than a FMJ. Scenars are awesome target paper punching bullets but have zero (00000) use as a game bullet unless you prefer wounding animals instead of harvesting animls.
