I'm taking the 225 hornady to 3K fps with rl50 with a compressed charge in a 26" tube(300 rum); I see no reason why you can't at least get close to that with a 210-215 (ham)berger. I still need to chrono rl33 with the 225 but it shot really well when I had it out a few weeks ago (dang wind forced me to keep the chrono in the car).

Thanks for the data. Another question...What is the minimum volicity to cause expansion on a Berger bullet. I have seen a few vidieo's with some extreme long shots out to "claimed distance" in the neighbor-hood of 1300 to 1500 yards. After looking at some data I suspect the bullets have to be down around 900 to 1000ft/lbs of energy. Is this enough energy to cause some expansion so you just don't have a 30 cal hole in the anamial.
