30-378 Wby Mag & 300 Win Mag Loads Needed

Hey guys I had some loads and misplaced them. I need loads for the listed calumets using H-1000 & H50BMG with Berger 210 Hunting VLD's and 200 Accubond's. I need loads using only these components. They are what I have at the moment and will be using. Thanks

Start with 96 gr of H-1000 and work up wth the 30-378. Watch for an accuracy node about 98 gr. For the 300 win start at 74 gr and work up. If you dont see pressure first watch for a node about 77 gr. Start low and work up. I have seen more than one 300 win go hot before 77 gr. Both of the above loads are for 210 Bergers and a Fed 215 primer or a CCI 250.

Not sure about that. I use them with 210 Bergers.

No not in my brass, I use wby brass for the 30-378's.

In the 300 win I am using Lapua brass which is no longer produced. I think if you get to 77 gr safely in the 300 with WW or RP brass you will still have a little room depending on seating depth for your rifle. But if you use RWS brass you will probably see pressure at 75 gr due to the lower case capacity.

If you use RWS brass and have a short throated rifle or short mag box, then you may see a compressed load for the 300.

I would start about .020" off the lans and get the charge then fine tune with depths.

I've got them all loaded now. The wby loads were not compressed, however, all of the 300's were compressed. I am using RWS brass with a case length of 2.61 and an overall length of 3.37 which was max length for my magazine. I started at 74 grains and went up in .5 grain increments to 75.5. Do you think I'll have any problems with all of these loads being compressed?
