The powders we have on hand are Hodgdon 4831 SC, 4831, IMR 4350, Winchester 780 Supreme, and Magpro. Anyone worked up any good loads with any of these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Magpro is an AWESOME powder in the 270WSM. I haven't messed around much with the 140 AB's in handloads, but I do shoot alot of the 150 BT's and 150 PT's using RL22. With WW cases, CCI250 primers, and RL22, it'll run about 3130 with the PT's and about same with the BT's.
150 PT Gold
I love the 270WSM and the 150 PT/BT combo. I actually wouldn't be scared to run a 150 BT into an elk, but since the PT shoots about the same, I will take the PT and run with it.
The 140 AB worked well in the Winchester Supreme factory loads back in the day as well.
