Agreed with the above posters. I just recently got done load testing for my own .270. I ran more then 40 loads through it. 3 different powders, 5 different bullets. I used RL-22, H1000, and H-4831sc for powders, with 130g bt's, 140g sgk's, 140g sst's, 140g AB'S, and 150g sgk. Velocity for my rifle is on the high side, 3050 with 140's and RL-22 and h4831sc, and right at 2950-3000fps with the 150 and RL-22 and h-4831sc. I am using 57.5g with 150g and either h-4831sc or RL-22. H-1000 was 100fps slower and grouping not as good. Funny thing is, the H-1000 loads were no more then 10 fps, while the rl-22 and h-4831sc are around 20-25 max deviation. If I was to use one powder, it would probly be h-4831sc. Great accuracy, velocity, and temp sensitive.
