Dennis how fast were you cooking with tht mix of H1000 and 140 gr Hornady's. I shot alot of deer with 140 gr btsp. Still use the when I hunt woods.

Well I made some loads, and check the 140 gr max col @ 2.876" with my Hornady comparator however my magazine will max gives me 2.820". So this gives me .056" off the lands. Boy these AB sure are long. Anyone using this bullet this far off the lands? or farther with great results?

+1
58.0 H4831 With those. I get 2950 with my sporter or 2830 with Bergers VDL's , both like that powder. No two rifles are the same though...
I can't even get close to my lands...lol

Re: 270 win 140 gr Accubonds RL22****Results

Here is some pics of reloader 22. I need to re-shoot the 58.4 gr with five shots to confirm.

This one is RL-17 52 gr / Rl-17 53 gr / and 58gr H4831.

I shot all these at 100 meters. All were set at max magazine length 2.819" with hornady comparator or 3.361" col.

Going to retry the 53gr. RL-17 and 58.4 gr Rl-22 and see what happens. I'll post results. As someone else the H4831 looks good too, minor bullet seat depth and it would good.
