.270 Ackley Imp. info.

I have searched the web for info. on the .270 Ackley Imp. and don't find much out there. Several items that I would like some input on, #1 - case lengths? are they the same as a .270 Win.? And load data if any of you shoot a 140gn Nosler Partition, what charge works for you, plus any other advice that you may have. I need some help here, the rifle belongs to by son-in-law and he is planning to take it with him to Africa this next spring.

270 Winchester Ackley Improved

Lots of other links but this one seemed to cover most with additional links posted.

FWIW with the 165/170 bullets coming out I think this will prove it's worth over and over....

Cheers from the Great Falls side of the Big Sky Country ... welcome to LRH and enjoy!

I don't load 140gr NP on my .270 AI but here's what I have thus far >>> My budget .270 AI ...

Hope it helps!
