Re: 260 Rem Load Recipeies?

I haven't worked with 140 grain bullets but have had good success with 129/130 grain bullets using H4350, H4831sc and RL 19. RL 17 is close to 4350 and I have had ok success with it but nothing like the consistency and accuracy that the others have given me. My 2 cents...

Re: 260 Rem Load Recipeies?

I'm having pretty good luck with 43.5g H4350 and 140g SMK .020 off the lands. I am using necked down .308 WRA 67 brass with CCI 200 primers. The brass is a little extra work but I bought 400 pieces dirt cheap so its worth the effort.

Re: 260 Rem Load Recipeies?

Checking in on this awesome thread. Just picked up a Savage M10 Predator in 260 with a 24" BBL and a 8 twist. Should be good for varmint loads and big game loads. Looking to shoot the NBT's in 120 for predators/varmints and either the 140 grain Berger or A-Max for big game. Topped the rifle with a 3x12x40 Vortex Viper so I should have a decent carry rifle.

Winchester Model 70 XTR in 264 Win Mag with Nikon 4.5x14SF BDC running HSM ammo loaded with 140 Grain Bergers. Antelope killer!

Someday, a APS Raptor LRSS in 338 AX. Time to step up my game. Ordered 10/2011 and still waiting!
