I'm in the same boat as you on the 300 smk's. I'm thinking of trying the Hornady 250g Match HPBT, but it will be a few weeks before I get back to the range.
I'll be sure to share any load information as applicable.

Re: 250 accubond load fo 338 Edge
Put me in that same boat for not finding 300g SMK's.
I also want to find a load with the 250g AB. I know it wont be "as good" as the 300g SMK, but it will still work to 1K and thats really all the farther I need to be shooting anyways. Plus, you can always find AB's.
H-1000 still the powder of choice for 250g bullets?? Should we go with something a little faster burning such as RL-22 or???

Re: 250 accubond load fo 338 Edge
I tried these four with the 250 AB and all were accurate. H-1000, Reloader 25, 7828 and magpro. I just quit working with the 250 and went with the 225 because the BC/velocity ratio was much better. If you need some 300 matchkings I just got in a thousand a couple months ago. I would sell some of those if anyone needs some. They are bulk packaged in one box. I would have to count them out. You can have them at my dealer price and pay the shipping.

Re: 250 accubond load fo 338 Edge
Do you shoot a 338 EDGE or 338-300??
Just curious on your bbl length and velocity your getting with your 225g loads.
I am currently using 300g SMK's, 92g H-1000, 2840fps, from a 338 EDGE w/28" Hart
Whats your favorite loads with the 225g AB??

The 338 Edge and the 338/300 is the same thing. I also shoot 92 grains of H-1000 behind the 300 SMK and I get 2791 FPS.
With the 250 SMK I have ran them to 3189 FPS with 98 grains of H-1000 and to 3197 with 95 grains of R-25

Re: 250 accubond load fo 338 Edge
So I should be able to reach say about 3300fps with 225g bullets??
I knew the 338-300 and 338 EDGE were the same thing, I just thought I saw where LTLR had about 15 different .338 cals, so I was just seeing if he had something relatively close to the capacity of the EDGE was all.
JWP- You tried anything smaller then 250g?? Any 225's?
