25-06 Varmint loads

I have a 25-06 Sendero that has turned into my go to gun for everything from deer to prairie dogs. The gun loves 115 grain ballistic tips but I am looking to load something a little faster and flatter for coyotes this winter.Does anybody have any pet reloads for the 75 grain V-Max or 85 grain Ballistic tips? (I just ordered 200 V-Max's)

    Hey Dusty,
I also have a .25-06 Sendero SF and among other bullets I tried the 75gn Sierra HP. I used IMR4064 and CCI BR2's. Loaded 47.5 - 51.0 gn in 1/2gn increments. Velocity (average) ranged from 3322 - 3611 fps. My rifle preferred 49.5gn @ 3543fps. This load showed best accuracy and lowest s.d. Produces 1/4" groups. OAL 2.6100". JohnnyK.

Here's a couple Dusty Roads -the american dream-.

75gr v-max -49.7gr of varget -cci lr primer.
    I seat the short 75gr v max 1/4" =.250 into the case.
I've never seen a bullet as frangible as the 75gr v max at 25-06 speeds -it vaporizes small critters and knocks coyotes down for the count.
I have shot coyotes at 300ish yards off of shooting sticks -just aim at the middle of the coyote plus the right elevation and down they go ,killed w/a gut shot.

    85gr nbt -55.5gr of H-4831sc or plain H-4831

    Thanks mike,
I had considered using varget, I think I'll give that one a try. Any idea on your velocity?
    Thanks Again.

Dusty -no chrono to measure speed.

But it must be fast from the looks of dead stuff!!!!!

I've had good luck w/varget and h-380 - varget has been more consistant day to day .

Bullet seating can be very strange w/ the short 75gr v max -if you get a decent load -try 3 rounds 10-15K closer and 3 rounds 10-15K farther from the lands .
I tried some rounds that were just barely into the case -looked like a shotgun pattern -.250 into the case has been very accurate.
