.243 Win twist rate

MidwayUSA's site showed a recommended twist rate of 1-10" for Hornady 105 A Max (MidwayUSA - Hornady A-Max Bullets 243 Caliber, 6mm (243 Diameter) 105 Grain Boat Tail Box of 100). The bullets arrived today and the Hornady box says 1-9". I have a DPMS LR243 with a 20" 1-10" twist. Will these bullets work? I don't want to open the box if they wont work.

Thanks,
Rocky

It's possible that you could stablize them (especially if your loads are fairly hot) but, there is no sure way to tell without shooting them. If you don't want to risk it, send them back.

Well, from reading posts here and on other forums, the majority of people said it would stabilize. I loaded some up to max load and let em rip. No presure signs but no groups either. About a 4MOA group at 100 yards. The 75 HPFB grouped under 1MOA with 10 round groups 2 out of 3 times.

I guess I will post them sometime in the for sale forum soon.
