9.25" is it a 22 or 26" savage? Your best bet is .010" off the lands or touching with H4831sc at about 47grns with Fed210M's.

It is a savage 24" barrel. I'm gonna run some through the crono to see where I am at.

Must be a model 10 predator hunter, with a 24" pipe a 105 and 40grns H4350 I doubt you are breaking 2900fps.

I am gonna work up some more and go from there. I know of a guy getting 3110fps out of a 24" barrel using 42gr of h4350.

Try this load. its what I use. 40.5 gr of H4831sc, 105gr berger vld, lapua brass, federal match primer. I have a 1/8 twist 243 barrel from brouhton, but its tight necked at .2.69. 5 bullets into 1hole.

If you are looking for the OCW load you should be looking at the 40.5-41gr. load. The 40gr load shifts the point of impact and the 40, 40.5, 41.0 and 41.5 are all within 1moa. I would try 40.7 and seat the bullets +.005 and -.005 and see what those do. The whole concept of an OCW load is to be in the middle of a point of impact node so to speak. I would also shoot them at at least 200 if not 300yds. as well.
