Volume One of the Handbook for shooters and reloaders by P. O. Ackley has the 240 Cobra (220 Swift necked up to 6mm) in it. It lists the following as MAXIMIM loads:

    for 95gr bullets:

    48gr 4350

    for 85gr bullets:

    47gr 4064
    43gr 4895

    for 75gr bullets:

    43gr 4064

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the infol. could you tell me if the powders Ackley was using were IMR or Hodgdon. I believe they should be IMR but I just want to make sure before I tell him. Thanks

There is a guy on Ebay (right now) who is selling a set of 240 Cobra reloading dies. I'd bet he could give you some help.
