180gr 300WSM

I am looking at getting into long range shooting/hunting with a friend of mine and was wondering what some of you are loading for a 180gr 300WSM (Powder and bullet).

Thanks.

Re: 180gr 300WSM

I have my brothers loaded to 30-06 velocity with an 180gr. ballistic tip with I believe reloader 19. He isn't shooting super far and it produces good groups so he likes it.

Re: 180gr 300WSM

Just worked up a load of RL22 at 69 grains with a 180 accubond
at 3068 to 3075 fps 7th off the lands. Might be a little hot no pressure signs but one of the bolt lifts was a little sticky out of 75 shots might be a off case but work up to this load. reloading case tonight so ill let u know how they prime up.

H4350 is the go to powder for most with standard primers.

Take your pick of 180 bullets.

Not of fan of RL 22 with the record of wide lot to lot variance and extreme temp sensitivity.

Ramshot Hunter works very well in the three 300WSMs I have loaded for.
