155 grain Lapua Scenar shooting result

Result of final testing of 155 grain Lapua Scenar on my Gruning Precision Tactical Rifle.

Component are as follows:
Federal Gold Medal Brass neck turned
Federal 210 Match Primer
44.8 grain Varget
Lapua Scenar 155 grain
COAL: 2.833

5 shot group at 100 yards .490
Average Velocity: 2965 fps

Desert fox, nice shooting and a great group. What barrel length allows for those nice velocities? BTW, 45 grains even in my Rem VSSF 26" shoot like that, but slower I think.

The barrel lenght is 24"- 12 twist Pacnor 3 grove super match. The reamer is Obermeyer designed strickly for 175 grain bullet but works will with Scenar. Somehow I could push the bullet faster with less amount of powder [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
