120 gr Ballistic Tip stable in a 10" twist 260?

Has anyone tried this at long range?
One program says good down to 2000 fps. That would be good for me.
But another program suggests it is good down to 2500 fps.
But that only gets me out to 350 yards.
I would really like to use it out to 500 yards and practice at 600 yards.
I will drive 960 miles next month to my hunting spot. I can get there a week early to do long range practice shooting.
Where I am now, all I can do is 100 yards.
Nosler has not tried it, they just Googled it and found another one of those programs for me.

From what I understand if it is stable at 100 yards it will be stable until it reaches transonic velocities or more depending on boattail angle. 7*-9* boat tail angle is supposed to do the best in transonic velocities according to Bryan Litz. You know you are shooting long range when the CheyTac team that's always on History Channel ranges the target and starts sobbing.

1-10 twist is good to go. If your stabilized at 100 you're pretty well stabil to the trans-sonic barrier as others have mentioned.
