Winchester Model 70 Trigger

I would like to know if anyone has a good site, with detailed instructions and pictures on how to work on the Winchester Model 70 trigger myself. I have worked on the Rem 700 trigger myself. I have read and heard where the Winchester is a better and easier trigger to work on.

Re: Winchester Model 70 Trigger

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Look here http://www.snipercountry.com/Article...WinTrigger.asp

Sear engagement on a winchester isn't adjustable like remingtons. On a winchester you need to stone it to reduce engagement depth. I made a fixture to hold mine and ground it on a surface grinder. It's tough to remove .008" with a stone by hand (at least for me). Hope this helps.
