starting out

anyone have any good reading on the basics ( learning how to mil and learn the calculations) and anything else that someone should really read and learn befor they even think about shooting.

Go to mil-dot.com. They have a good explination on how to range using mildots with the calculations for meters, yards etc, etc.
They have everything but the practice
