Doe most of you guys use sporter or bull barrels.

REDNECK, it depends on what you want to do.If you like to sit & wait go bull. Like to hike & move arond,find a good medium sporter. Just match it up to your load.

All my rifles are heavy barrels, 24 to 27.5 inches in length and .900 dia muzzle.

I don't mind the weight, if I wanted to hump less weight I'd loose a few pounds off my person (which I can afford to do).

The rifles typically weigh 12 to 17 pounds. The majority of the weight comes from the heavy duty accessories (tactical mounts and rings, heavy stock with adjustable LOP, bipod).

I believe Len has a carbon fiber wrapped barrel and gets the best of both worlds.
