Re: savage build which action???
I just finished a 7-300WSM built on a Savage DBM Long action. I had my reamer cut to suit the 180 Bergers and have been very pleased. Mine was a 300WM originally and it feeds slick as can be.
Savage DBM Long action, trued and timed, bolt interrupted fluting
Northlander Recoil Lug
Brux #5 contour Barrel Interupted Fluting 27"
Boyd's featherweight thumbhole stock, inlet for the DBM metal
Devcon, and Pillar bedded by me
Ken Farrel Rings and Bases
Leupold Mk4 4.5x14x50 scope
Half minute at 400yrds, and I'm not quite done with load development.
