I see some one that keeps reposting and defending his opinion about Savage. With out actually stopping and counting, I think I own more 700's than I do all my savage fire arms. BUT I have never had one complaint about any of my Savage fire arms. Some are my favorite. I was involved in a hunting insisdent that involved a 700. I won't go into the whole story but did end up with a bulet hole in the crotch of my pants, scared the **** out of me. Yes I checked out the gun, [not mine] and some one had adjusted the trigger. Bottom line I like both Remington and Savage. But have never had a bad thing to say about Savage. Take it for what its worth Thanks for your time.
