Rifle for Son

I have an opportunity to buy a new Coyote 7WSM for $485.00.
My oldest Son just started hunting out West with me. Do
you guys think this is a good way to go. My thoughts were
that if the round goes away later we could put a 270WSM barrel on there anyway & I think that round will stay. What
do y'all think?

Re: Rifle for Son

Let me put it this way.....

What would your immediate feelings be if you went back to that place and that rifle was gone?

Let us know what you do.

Re: Rifle for Son

I'd buy it simply to resell , thats a hell of a deal from the prices I've seen.
I haven't personaly seen one shoot but have heard good things.
How old is your son , thats not exactly the lightest gun out their.
