rem 788 threads same as 700?

wanted to know if the 788action will accept a rem 700 barrel. thanks

Jordan,

The 700 thread is 1-1/16" (1.062")x 16 TPI, whereas the 788 is 1.000" x 20 TPI and longer than the 700.
