Question about an FN potrol rifle

I have just bought an FN potrol rifle and i was woundering if any one here that has one of these rifles do you have seat the bullet out very far to get to the lans and grooves of the rifle because on mind it seams that I have to seat it extreamly far out. So if anyone out there has one please comment back to me.

my second question on this rifle is; is it free bored like a wherbey

I have never reloaded for one but I did run several of FN tactical rifles through their paces before our SWAT team bought their second rifle. They all shot good (all 308's) and cleaned reasonably well for a factory gun.
As for the throat length , I doubt that they are free bored like Weatherby's as thats generaly a caliber specific deal unless its ordered that way but it may just have a ong throat ,it seems that this is getting to be a trend with factroy gun lately.
