That would be a good and also logical decision, because the 7x64 Brenneke has got significant more power in (European, f.ex. RWS, Brenneke) hard loaded fab - ammo than the 280. So there isn't any big difference to find between 7x64 and 280AI. BTW, the 7x64 is the "mother" of the 280 Rem and you'll get something nice and special not everyone owns in the states. Brass and components are not an obstacle at all, you'll find a bunch of it. Several American producers like Winchester, Federal and Hornady are also producing fab - ammo for the calibre. The 7x64 Brenneke is one of the most popular hunting rounds in whole Europe and that for good reason. Good luck with your choice to be taken!
