looking for a good rifle

looking for a good rifle

I was wanting a good rifle, eaither a lever action or a autoloader, i realy want it for a day out to have some fun and also to do some hunting with it but i want to able to hunt from ground hog to big deer. what would a good cal. and rifle if there is one out there?

    Marlin and Henry Arms are popular company for lever action guns. As for a round to have fun with and be able to hunt with. Well the cal's I can think of would be 44 mag, 30-30, and maybe the 308 marlin express (dont know about the availability have the round though) Hope this helps
