..I ain't so sure about that, my astute pal.. Seems like places where I go that are usually the "high ground" for the area "compress" the wind and I get increases and updrafts up top.. Something like when ya squeeze a water hose at the end to get more pressure.. The wind at my level gets mixed in with the wind from below and creates more wind volume, maybe.?
.. It could also be that our theories are on different sides of the hill, ay.? Windward or lee.. d:^) JiNC
