I am a little worried that there is a huge difference in the wind between ground level and that of about 30-40 feet in the air. I have tried a cheap wind meter
and that was a lost cause. I am trying to utilize the mirage factor, but I have a real hard time seeing it some days -- as I did the day of the testing. I'm not sure if I have ever seen reliable mirage in the winter time during big game season.
