I would go with the 7Rem Mag, it'll do what your looking for and won't beat you up doing it. That is what I'm gathering parts for these days.

The 7rm is a very rewarding cartridge. Minimal recoil in a heavy barrel configuration, High b.c. bullets which hold there energy way out there and great brass selection.
