exbal zeroing

If I have my rifle zeroed for conditions at home and I go somewhere else with a completely diff altitude as well as other atmospheric changes. Can I simply input the new data into the program and shoot (to confirm), or do I need to rezero the gun everywhere (including locally)I go.

My appologies if this is an elementary question.

If you have the altitude set to zero and you input the new in/Hg pressure in actual station pressure you should be good to go. But I would confirm with a few practice shots if at all posible.

I haven't been able to use exbal, but I would say that @ 100 yards the change in conditions isn't gonna move point of impact much if any. At extended ranges is where they will take effect. I would shoot and make sure my 100 yard zero is still on(from getting bumped around durring travel) and pop a few down range to see if exbal was spot on.
