Encore??

Anybody tried a T/C Encore? I know the bolts inherently are more accurate, but can't the tc shoot good also. I was thinking of a custom barrel in 6.5X284 or 22-243 fast twist.

I shoot them a lot, have several barrels that will shoot inside 0.75" or better.
My barrels range from .223 Rem. to .416 Rigby.

I have been in out and through the Encore. Have had good results with 22.250 & custom 257 Wby. There are several tweeks and changes you can make to get them up to thier full potential. I would advise that you go to www.bellmtcs.com to see whats available and read all you can. In my opinion Mike Bellm is THE Encore guru, and a really fine gentleman to deal with.

Who is the best for g2 contender barrels? I am looking for a 17 rem or 20 tactical for a contender?
