Does paint void warranty on scope
If I get my scope duracoated does it void the warranty of the scope?

Call the scope manufacturer and ask them. That way you will know for sure.

I painted my Leupold VXIII. I called them first and they said that is was no problem as long as the paint did not get on a lense, etc. Afterwards I did have to send it in for warranty and had no issue.

I am pretty sure that unless a modification to a product causes the defect your warranty must be honored. Same goes for automobiles etc.
