Detachable Magazines

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with Remington 700's detachable magazines? Has anyone had one chip the edge of the stock from recoil? Are they as stout as say a BDL floorplate? I have never had a problem with the floorplate on the BDL's that I have. Opinio of DBM's?

Re: Detachable Magazines

I've NEVER heard anything GOOD about the standard Remington detachable magazines, mostly described as "POS".

I have the H-S detachable mag system on my Remingtons and it works fine (pricey but good).
