budget rifle
i will be getting a stevens 300 wm next month,just got a vortex 4-12 today.but just dont like the stocks so im looking at a hogue stock, i do reload so what am i missing.i still shoot the old 721 and always will.

That is why I bought my Howa instead of the Stevens; I didn't like the Stevens stock and the Howa had a Hogue overmodled stock.

i have 7mag stevens i put a stockade piare dog buget its a great stock
SSS makes a great stock to for the money
choate makes an tatical for stagered feed than can made to work

hogue just started shipping stocks for savages,to include the 110 and the new models.

If you like laminated wood, Stockys has some nice ones for the Stevens, especially in the thumbhole style. Else the Bell & Carlson ones for a Savage 110 would probably fit, but I'd check with B&C to confirm.
