Which Action Is Best

Thinking about buying a Savage to shoot in NRA silhouette. I have quite a bit of experience shooting silhoutte and lately more and more Savages are showing up on the line.

Leaning hard towards buying a Model 12FVSS in 308 but some here speak highly of the 200.

I remember a Savage single shot action from years ago that was basically a PO' Boys 40X and they shot like crazy???????
