Is $750 for a Sendero 300 WM a good price?

I saw an ad online for a Sendero (not sure about the different versions, but it has a round fore-end and no flutes on the barrel) that came with Leupold rings and bases, and 6 boxes ammo for $750. Ad states only blemish is a small scratch on the end of the barrel.

Is this an exceptional deal that I should pick up? I'm looking to build a custom gun, would it be worth the money to use the action from this gun and sell the rest? Or even use the stock that's already on the gun?

Remember, if you happen to find it, I called dibs!

What are the factory stocks and barrels worth?

If its a Sendero it already has a good stock, if its made by H-S.

Your not going to build a sendero any cheaper, if your donor action is $400 your stock $300. Your already near $750 and you don't have your barrel yet.

Thats about what I paid for my sendero 7 years ago, new. Remington has sure gone up since.

If your going to biuld a custom then it,s to much for a doner
rifle if you have to replace the barrel and the stock.

If the stock is a mcmillan or a laminated rem you can biuld a
shooter by just rebarreling ,But its not a bad price if it will shoot.

It's the HS Precision stock. It also comes with 6 boxes of ammo. Is this a "good" deal or an exceptional one?

The stock is an HS worth $300.00

+ the ammo.....

it is worth the asking price.... Not a smoking deal, but a good one....

depends on what you want it for .... shoot the way it is or rebarrel..

You'll be limited to the choices being a magnum action....

Sendero's have fluted barrels. So maybe he re-barreled it.
