338 Nosler accubond 200 gr reloads

I am beginning the reloading process to strech my shoots out to 600 yards. Not true LRS by this forums standards but my personal limit due to my factors.

My rifle is a" Shadow" with a lija barrell and Leupold 3 x 10 VXIII

What is your question? That is a good bullet, but it all depends on what you are shooting... Metal, animals (if so what kind?)..

I shoot the .338WM with a 210gr Accubond as my all around load... Never had gotten around to trying the Accubond in my .338, but have great sucess with it in other calibers and grains....

I think the bullet will work for that. What powder you planning on using?

You might look into the 225s or even the 250 Accubonds both have good ballistics and
perform well on elk.

For open country I like the 225s and in the mountains where there is always wind from 2 or 3
directions I like the 250s.

Just my opinion

Re: 338 Nosler accubond 200 gr reloads

I am assuming you are shooting a 338 win mag. My preference for longer shots is the 225 accubond. With a stiff powder charge of RL19, you should be able to get close to 2900 fps and the high bc of the 225 (.550) will give you the best between flat trajectory and retained energy. The 200 gr is a good bullet for shots to 400 yards in my opinion, then the 225 really shines. The 250 gr is also a good choice, depending on how fast your gun will shoot it. It will have more of a rainbow trajectory and some guns will max out at about 2700.
