.220 swift

I need some expert advice here . I recently purchased a Ruger M77 Varmit with a stainless bull barrel and it has been floated. It also has a Timley trigger in it. I was wanting to get know if anyone has any experience with this gun/caliber and which factory load may work well in it.

Re: .220 swift

Good choice on the rifle and setup swiftone. As for factory ammo, I used Federal Premium with the 52 gr boat tail hollow point. I was shooting sub MOA at 100 yards with this ammo. Explosive round on gophers as well. I used this ammo until I got into reloading. Good luck.

I think that it is the premium varmint. It is the ones that use Speer 52 gr BT HP MATCH bullets. Blue and goldy colored box. They should work quite well for you.
