I hate to do it but an upcoming arrival to the safe requires that I sell this tack driver. I'm selling a Savage 10FP-LE1 w/AccuTrigger (20" barrel) in .308. The rifle is both cosmetically and mechanically outstanding and includes the following:
--20" factory heavy barrel, freefloated, less than 400rds;
--Bell & Carlson Medalist Tactical stock (black);
--Warne Tactical one piece picatinny base;
--SSS tactical bolt knob;
The rifle has performed very well on both the firing line and hunting stand (took an armadillo at 211yds this past January ). At 100yds, it shoots FGM and Black Hills 168gr. and 175gr. Match rounds under MOA and shoots custom reloads (168gr. SMK atop both Varget and BL-C(2) in Lapua or Winchester brass) 1/2"MOA when the shooter does their part.
I gave her a "once over" and I can't find any issues except for one I'm a little embarrased to mention. It is missing the rear trigger guard screw. I must have forgotten to install it when installing the new stock and never replaced it! Now I can't find the screw. What's even funnier is that it's been this way for over a year and seen in excess of 350 rds without the screw. Apparently the screw merely gives a rear anchor point for the trigger guard and serves no other function...
Included in the sale is the rifle, scope base, tactical stock & bolt handle, and original factory stock (with dual sling studs at the fore-end of the stock). I am separating the Zeiss Conquest scope for use with the new rifle. Price is $650 plus $15 shipping. If you want to do a face to face transaction, I'm in Memphis, TN. If shipped, must go to FFL.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached at ceylonc@hotmail.com.
Here are some pics of the rifle and a target shot @ 100yds. Thanks for looking!
