I have a GAP custom built precision rifle that I need to sell due to a restructuring of my salary at work. It shoots like a house afire and it pains me to let it go but such is life. Here are the details:
--The action is a Remington 700 bedded in a green OD McMillan A-5 stock with 3 press cups to accept a sling;
--The barrel is a 22" Schneider heavy contour 5P with approx 600-700 rounds down the tube. It is also threaded for a Jet Suppressor and has the protective screw on cap (sorry, don't know the pitch of the threads);
--GAP bolt release, GAP bolt knob, and oversized extractor;
--Badger bottom metal with 2 AICS 7-rd magazines (customized by GAP for 300WSM, flawless function);
--Badger 20MOA picatinny scope base;
The rifle has been very well maintained and is in excellent condition. There is a lot of life in the barrel and is capable of sub 1" groups at 300yds when the shooter is up to the task. This past weekend it harvested a whitetail doe at 461yds lasered with one 178gr AMAX atop H4350. It's a heck of a rig that shoots like a GAP shoud without the 6-8 month wait.
