i bought this used from a friend. he said it had about 700 rds down the tube. ive put another 200 threw it. i was told it was built on a trued post 64 model 70 long action.
it is a win mod 70 with a mcmillan 40x stock. the stock has been a few colors and is now duricoted black. it has a tub 4 way butplate that is not fit great. it works fine but its not pretty. it has adjustable cheak piece with one of the 2 screws missing. im sure you can get a replacement but one screw holding works fine for me.
its set up for nra position shooting it has a full length accessory rail with a bipod stud and a hand rest.
28 inch shilen 1-8 twist barrel. the end of the barrel has been turned for a iron sight. i ran in one f-class match and scored in the 580s.
with a 142 smk over h-4350 it shot a 1.2 inch group @ 350 yds durring load development (first couple pics), loads of 43 and 43.5 shown. thats the highest i went.
trigger is a rifle basix and is set to a crisp 1 lb. the gun has no saftey
there is probably stuff im forgetting so ask away
price is 850 shipped to ffl from individual. optics rings and bases bipod not included
