WTS Colt pre ban lower

Hay guys this lower is best for the ban states. What I got here is a pre-ban colt AR-15 A2 lower marked SPORTER II. The lower is 99% condition no scratches to any metal but the pistol grip has a small scratch on her. This is a large pin lower, the pins for both a large pin Colt upper and small pin aftermarket uppers are included. The lower has 100% Colt parts installed.

I had this lower on a Daniel Defense upper and my MRP, she fit fine very, very tight lock up on both uppers had no movement what so ever. PMAGS drop free as well as standard GI mags.

I have to get what I paid for it and for a Ban state sale its well worth the price to build the rifle you want. If you live in a Ban state and your not sure what buying a preban lower will get you I can explain in detail via PM.

Price is 650$ shipped to your FFL or if you live here in NY I can ship it right to you, if you provide me with a copy of your pistol permit or we can do a face to face sale. If you live far we can do an FFL transfer.

What makes the lower the issue in a "Ban" state?
Isn't it the same as any other lower?
I thought the upper w/ or w/out a flash hider was the problem.

Please educate me.

The lower is what dictates how you can configure your weapons system. One example could be if your lower is registered as an SBR(short Barrled rifle) that would allows you to have any barrel 16" or shorter on your lower.

Here in NY a pre ban lower lets you have things like a bayonet lug, collapsible buttstock, un attached flash hider etc.

Yes as is says above I sold it 12-15-2010 do you need a pre ban? Pm me and I will give you some ideas. Let me know where you live.
