I need money for another project so (unfortunately) this rifle has to go. It's an composite stalker A-Bolt chambered in .260 Remington. I've used it for deer & hogs for 3-4 years. I've sunk some money into it to improve what was already a great rifle. The following upgrades have been performed on this rifle:
1) Custom trigger job--gunsmith (Keith Warner) who specializes in A-Bolts lightened the pull to approx. 3lbs.; breaks like glass. This was not done with the aftermarket spring set but I bought one (still unopened) and will include it with the rifle;
2) Action glass bedded;
3) Barrel free floated;
4) Crown touched up--wasn't damaged in any way, just had Keith touch it up while he had the gun.
These upgrades have turned a MOA gun into sub-MOA @ 100yds. Below is a pic of a group I shot maybe a month ago.
The rifle is in excellent shape and has no significant blemishes. There are two tiny (maybe 1-2 cm) marks on the barrel but they are not scratches and could probably just be touched up. They are not on the crown so accuracy isn't an issue. The stock is black synthetic with palm swell and sling studs.
Price is $525 + shipping. I'll also include the Warne 2-piece scope bases mounted on the rifle.
Unfortunately I've had to resort to a "stock" photo because my digital camera crapped out on me.
