They are hard little rifle's to find. Wal-Mart used to carry them. I looked for one for my son for a few months, finally gave up onner.
Did find out that Savage also has a "little" rifle. Think it's called the "Cub" and I actually liked it better because it has a "flippable" safety on it and just seemed safer than a Chipmunk. When I went back to get it someone had beaten me to it. It was a few dollars more than the Chipmunk, but that shouldn't matter when safety is involved.
I ended up getting my some a little stainless single-shot bolt action Marlin. It has the wood stock, safety and Tru-Glo front sight. It's same hole accurate at 25-30 yds. JohnnyK.
