I'm getting old(er), fat and lazy and consequently my heavy rifles have been going. I have two heavy rifle left, one being this GAP.
As nearly always I had this rifle built on a whim, my son doesn't want it (he has a few rifles) and it'll need to go.
I'm fairly quirky about sales:
1) This is my rifle and I'll sell it to whomever I decide (more on this below).
2) I don't abide by 'dibs' lists.
3) I prefer face-to-face sales.
4) I prefer cash but will take U. S. Postal Service (USPS) money orders (I must cash the money orders before I'll delivery the item).
5) I will not take a personal check nor any of the following: bank check, WalMart gift certificate, gold, silver, land, cattle, pets, wives, children, watches, stamps, frequent flyer miles, pre-paid credit cards, poultry, medicinal herbs, non-medicinal herbs, cameras, antiques, boats, planes, trucks, cars... you probably get the idea by now.
6) I reserve the right to sell this item to anyone I choose, or even to gift it to anyone I choose.
7) I reserve the right to exclude a potential buyer for any reason (there are some mannerism and folks I just don't like).
8) I will trade for items I find appealing (see exclusion list above).
9) I will not consider any action that is not completely legal (as I understand the law).
10) I may add or remove conditions as I wish.
11) If shipping is involved, I will insure and securely package the item taking pictures of the process then seek approval from the buyer before placing the item for shipment. Once the item is delivered to the shipping agent I am no longer in control of the items and I will consider the transaction complete, the buyer assumes all responsibility once the item is in shipment.
M40A1 built at G. A. Precision.
Turn-in USMC stock (with multiple character marks).
Winchester M70 USMC type floorplate (assumed new and altered by G. A. Precision for this build).
U. S. Optics Unertl style base and rings (a scope had been mounted in this rings).
This rifle has been fired nine (9) times since delivery to me (I zero'd an MST-100 scope). I believe G. A. Precision may have fired a test round or two but this meager number is unknown to me.
I took the rifle out of the stock for these pictures, other than that it is just as it arrived from GAP.
I will start this at $2,500 (USD) and work from there but I will also consider offers. The buyer and I will need to come to a monetary agreement on shipping cost(s) and methods if needed.
