sorry for the mix up......I had intended to do two different threads but was multi-tasking at the time and didnt proof check the post.
The top pic is the 264 (24" barrel)..... that shoots extremely well. purchased used several years ago and is responsible for the demise of numerous whitetail feeding in the bean-fields. shoots just where you point it!
the bottom pic is an old 270 (22") that has been in my safe decades.......not sure of the amount of rounds fired but still had good accuracy when it retired. would make an excellent first rifle for a youth, a beater or a project.
