There are two different pics, which is it, the classic is the second pic and i know they made a classic 264 in 80s i believe, the top pic is a older, late 60s early 70s bdl, which they also made a 264 in, however barrel does not look like it is long enough to be a bdl 264.

sorry for the mix up......I had intended to do two different threads but was multi-tasking at the time and didnt proof check the post.


The top pic is the 264 (24" barrel)..... that shoots extremely well. purchased used several years ago and is responsible for the demise of numerous whitetail feeding in the bean-fields. shoots just where you point it!



the bottom pic is an old 270 (22") that has been in my safe decades.......not sure of the amount of rounds fired but still had good accuracy when it retired. would make an excellent first rifle for a youth, a beater or a project.
