whats the twist rate? The Savage website says 1-12 but I did a quick internet search and it says that Savage offers 1-12 and 1-9 twist in 22-250

Thanks, thats too bad If it were 1-9 Id be all over that deal, Ive been saving for a long range target/hunting gun. A Savage is what I want , preferably a .308 but am open to other economical cartridges for smaller game (sub 300lbs) and would be all over that rifle if I could shoot the same 75gr Hornady and 77gr SMK's I shoot out of My AR. That round plus the extra 300-400fps Id get over a .223 would be a sweet little combo for my purposes.

Good luck on the sale its a sweet rifle for a great price.
