Savage target action

For sale savage target action right bolt left port this action has had some work done to it the bolt head has been replaced with a magnum bolt face, it has a bottom recoil lug installed on it, the accutrigger has had the red blade removed and the slot for it has been filled, it has a stockcade bolt handle band comes with barrel nut original recoil lug and a .223 bolt head $390 shipped

I would have purchased this but removing the red accutrigger piece concerns me. Why did you have this removed? Was this (and the other work) done by a gunsmith or did you do this yourself? Does the trigger still function safely or is there anything out of the ordinary with it? Was this purchased as an action only and is it still new, or has it been used on a rifle before? Not trying to be a jerk, just want to know before I buy.
