I have a Redfield 1-piece base and rings for a pre-64 Mod 70 Winchester. I bought the set new and removed from my 270 when i went to a MOA elevated base. Rings are 1". Screws are NOT buggered. At one time this was painted and a few flecks of paint remain along with a shiny area on the side of the base. Perfect if your going to repaint or coat. I can send a photo. gunboy@sbcglobal.net
